Governor Brian Sandoval today announced the appointment of Joseph “Joe” Hardy Jr. to Department 15 and Louis Eric Johnson to Department 20 of the Eighth Judicial District Court. They will fill the vacancies created by the appointment of Judges Abbi Silver and Jerome “Jerry” Tao to the Nevada Court of Appeals. Hardy will replace Judge Silver and Johnson will replace Judge Tao.
