Eighth Judicial District Court Judge Linda Marquis presided over a temporary off-site court created at the Las Vegas VA Medical Center in order to quash child support warrants for Clark County veterans. The special court was held in October in conjunction with the Nevada Attorney General’s Office of Military Legal Assistance EASE Program to help veterans get back on track with their lives without the stress of a warrant hanging over their head. 

Judge Marquis expressed gratitude to the District Court Marshals Division, IT, and the Clerk’s Office for their hard work making the VA Medical Center courtroom a success.
