Las Vegas Township Justice Court

The Las Vegas Township Justice Court accepts all civil court proceedings within the Las Vegas Township. The Court Clerk's Civil Customer Service Office is located on the second floor of the Regional Justice Center, 200 Lewis Avenue. Business hours are 8:00 AM to 3:00 PM, Monday thru Friday, excluding holidays.

Eighth Judicial District Court

Civil matters totaling more than $10,000 enter the Eighth Judicial District Court by the filing of a complaint.  The complaint details the grievances suffered by the plaintiff and asks for compensation to make the plaintiff "whole".  Civil lawsuits usually involve matters in which one party sues another to enforce an agreement, contract or an obligation, to recover property or money, to collect damages for injury suffered by the plaintiff or to protect the plaintiff's civil rights. The Clerk of the Court accepts all civil court proceedings within Clark County. The following list represents the civil case types maintained by the Clerk of the Court for the Eighth Judicial District Court. The Civil Counter is located on the third floor of the Regional Justice Center, 200 Lewis Avenue, in downtown Las Vegas.
